Throughout their four years, students have the opportunity to engage in Art and Music courses. Our program fosters a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, encouraging all participants to develop into well-rounded performers and scholars. The arts are vital in shaping our humanity and contributing to our completeness as individuals. Unlike subjects such as math or science, which can be grasped through sporadic or random exposure, the arts require consistent education and engagement. Thus, involvement in the fine arts is a fundamental aspect of the school curriculum and an essential part of every student’s educational journey. 

In New Jersey, the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Visual and Performing Arts (NJSLS-VPA) outline the expectations for literacy and proficiency across five artistic disciplines: dance, music, theater, visual arts, and media arts. Each discipline possesses its own distinct set of skills, knowledge, and content. Nevertheless, the arts are fundamentally interconnected and interdependent. The NJSLS-VPA provides a framework for implementing arts education in the classroom, promoting innovative approaches to thinking, learning, and creating. 

Among the courses available at Windsor Prep are Instrumental, Vocal, Music Production, Drawing, Painting, and Fine Art.
