How to Enroll

Students are referred to the Windsor Schools by their district case managers. The case managers submit student records for review by the admissions staff to determine the appropriateness of our program for the student. If the student appears to be a good candidate, an intake interview is scheduled with the student, the parent(s) or guardian, and a representative for the district.

During the intake, an interview will be conducted to determine if our school’s program is an appropriate match for the student’s needs and interests. This would include a review of the student’s IEP, evaluations, clinical history, academic levels of functioning, and needed related services. The interview also includes an informative presentation of the program, as well as a guided tour of the building.

After the intake is complete, the district representative and the parent will be informed of a decision in a timely manner. If all parties are in agreement that our program is an appropriate placement for the student, our school will provide the sending school district with an acceptance letter and a tuition contract.
